Founded
in 1968 through a consolidation of two local
agencies, The Woolf-Harris sales organization
was initially structured to serve the professional
trade or plumbing wholesale segment of the
market exclusively. After a brief period of
also providing service to the retail channel,
we are proud to, once again, be exclusively
oriented to the professional arena. Today,
we have sales offices located in six strategic
regions: Knoxville, Tennessee; Nashville,
Tennessee; Memphis, Tennessee; Jackson, Mississippi;
Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Harahan; Louisiana.
As a result of our company's continuing evolution,
we have expanded our vision to include developing
a closer relationship with those people who
were and are emerging as a major factor in
the decision making process, i.e. the plumbing
and mechanical contractors, the building contractors,
and the product specification engineers. This
segment of our business has become so important
to us that we strive to spend at least 50%
of our time in this arena
As an additional service
to our customer base, we also operate a
sixteen thousand square foot warehouse where
we provide product availability and regional
support for items such as water coolers,
large diameter fittings, commercial water
heaters, stainless steel sinks, special
finish tub drains and overflows, threaded
brass as well as a wide variety of custom
and commercially oriented vitreous china
products.
Our customer service department is currently
comprised of seven (6) dedicated sales representatives
who are completely focused on providing
sales support for our customer base as well
as our field sales team. Backing up our
customer service function, we have three
(3) additional staff members who provide
clerical, EDI and general office support
as well as three (3) full time warehouse employees.
The additional strength of our agency lies
in the effectiveness and number of those
profit enhancement professionals that we
have living in and covering our geographical
territory. Presently there are eleven
(11) of them. It should also be noted that

user friendly and provides our customer
base with a wealth of knowledge about those
manufacturers that we have the privilege
to represent.
As an agency, we offer not only the sales
effort in the field required to meet our
manufacturer's demands; we are also one
of the few sales organizations that possess
the marketing expertise to develop and implement
those creative promotional initiatives that
are essential when pulling sales volume
through the respective market place. As
a result, Woolf-Harris, Inc. stands apart
from every other sales agency in the Southeastern
region. Clearly, the impressive list of
manufacturers that we represent coupled
